Concept by Jordan Rosin
The Ume Group’s “DREAM DANCES™” is a moving meditation and theatrical experience based on the real-life dreams of artists and audiences alike. Using an eclectic combination of acrobatics, found object puppetry, Butoh Dance, Soundpainting, and Playback Theatre, an ensemble of physical theatre artists transforms written and verbal accounts of recent dreams into vivid theatrical sketches, surreal comedy and soul-wrenching dance.
DREAM DANCES™ is also the name of an educational workshop, whose curriculum created by Jordan Rosin is licensed to The Ume Group and currently available for booking by colleges/university, churches, community centers and other organizations.
